Finally I have some down time to update you on the cool things I got at IMATS Pasadena. This was my first year experiencing this massive makeup convention for makeup artists/ makeup lovers. I was overwhelmed! I knew it was going to be a big place with venders and classes but i was shocked when I entered! It was like heaven! A makeup heaven, music blasting beautiful people, models getting made up/ sprayed up/ FX'ed up! it was AMAZING!! I was like kid in Disney Land for the first time. My eyes were big and I just wanted to touch and buy everything. There were great show deals and you got more for your money. I learned my lesson though, next year I will buy the things that will help me stand out as a makeup artist. This year since I was a rookie I bought things i needed to refill my kit, not so much on what will help me step up my creativity and products. Lessoned learned and i cant wait for next year!!!!

Also I was able to attend this class called the "Guru Summit" and it was a panel of YouTube makeup Gurus. My husband laughed at me because I was too shy to say hi and ask for a picture with any of them and i saw them while i was walking around!! Next year i wont be so shy!! but i did get to take a picture with Julieg713! She did comment that she loved my makeup! :)

Oh and i bought Rae Morris makeup book, which i highly suggest everyone to get!! She just had the most amazing story and so inspiring and motivating!!! AND i got to take a picture with her AND she signed my book!! :)

I was not able to get as much stuff as I wanted but like I said a lesson learned. I cant wait until next year!!!

I thought it was interesting since I havent really worked with glitters. This company has a mixing/ bond for the glitters to make them stay on longer and help the glitter/pigment easy to apply.

-amazing for dry skin, tired and irritated skin.
-great as a foundation primer, not too greasy and not too light on the face, just right.
I use this a lot on all my clients. Not pictured here is a balm they have that really help with flaky skin and i recently used that for a shoot and it saved my life.

These are some of the things they had at IMATS and I wish I was able to make more purchases but I am pretty happy with the Products I got! These are great products and I hope you take the time out and look them up and try them out. And if you are still building up a makeup kit like me, these are some products and product companies to check out and see if you think its worth it to be in your kit.
